WOTS Signs Safety Agreement with OSHA

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Wind of the Spirit established a collaborative relationship to help reduce the number of Hispanic Worker's killed and injured in work-related accidents. They will use their collective expertise to help foster a culture of worker health and safety and accident prevention through a cooperative sharing of best practices and technical knowledge.

On March 14, more than forty Wind of the Spirit Members and allies from across the country visited congressional offices in Washington, D.C. to ask them for a fair and comprehensive immigration reform and humane border policies. Our members presented their visions and perspectives on the national immigration policy debate and their ideas to bring rights and justice for immigrant and border communities. An amazing sense of strength permeated our group and continues to unite us as we push forward for comprehensive immigration reform.
