Study Finds Exploitation of Day Laborers
"The report found one bright spot: The rate of wage theft was significantly lower in municipalities where established advocacy groups were fighting for the rights of low-wage and immigrant workers.
“'It shows how much community organizing serves to diminish abuse,' Mr. Lonegan said."

PLEASE NOTE:

Last year WotS recovered $27,358.00 of unpaid wages and was recognized by the Federal Labor Department for their great job in supporting immigrants’ rights.
WotS played a key role in requesting the participation of the Morristown workers in the survey conducted by Seton Hall University and continues to actively promote immigrants’ rights.
